Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has published notification for the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) organized by the Government of Assam for admission into the B.Tech. program in the engineering colleges of Assam. The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), 2021 will be conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU). Students who have passed or appearing in the 10+2 exam he/she can apply online through the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) website astu.ac.in.

Assam CEE Eligibility Criteria 2021
To be eligible for admission to any of the colleges a candidate must fulfill the following criteria:
Resident-ship: The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must pass the Qualifying Examination individually in the same sitting without any grace marks in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with a minimum of 50 % (45 % in case of SC and 40 % in case of ST) mark taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The same sitting means a candidate must appear all the four subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English together.
Age Limit: The Candidate must not be above 21 years or below 17 years of age as of 1st August 2019.
Age Relaxation: Upper age limit mentioned above is relaxed to 22 years in the case of B.Sc. passed Candidates. The upper age limit mentioned in (d) above is relaxed by 3 years for Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
Character: The Candidate must possess a good moral character.
Fitness: The Candidate must be physically and mentally fit.

Assam CEE 2021 Syllabus
The CEE 2021 will be conducted as per the latest syllabus of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.
The paper shall be of three (3) hours duration and shall contain 120 multiple choice questions each carrying one mark. Four (4) marks will be awarded for every right answer and one (1) mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. There shall be no marks, in case, the candidate selects more than one option in the answer sheet. CEE-2020 will be based on Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) Syllabus.
The examination will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Type and comprise of a Single Paper of 3 (three) hours duration with the following distribution:

The question paper contains questions both in the “English” and “Assamese” language.
Assam CEE Application Fee 2021
Last year candidates had to pay an Application Fee of Rs. 750/- (Seven hundred and fifty only) through online, which facilitate payment through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. Assam Science and Technology University shall not accept hard copies of the Application and any other documents. Fee once paid, is not refundable.
The fee for Assam CEE 2021 will be revealed only, once the official notification is out.
Assam CEE 2021 Admit Card
The ASTU authority will release the Assam CEE admit card 2021 on the official website. The Candidate will be able to download his/her admit card from the University website www.astu.ac.in from 15 before the exam and up to the date of examination by entering his/her application form number/User name and Password generated during submission of online application.

How to apply for Assam CEE 2021
Interested and eligible candidates who have passed or appearing in the 10+2 exam may apply online for appearing this entrance examination. Candidates must apply through the online application form at astu.ac.in .
Applicants need not send a copy of the Application Form or any Document to this office. However, candidates should take a printout of the application form to be produced during counseling.
